Was man nicht alles mit Hundescheiße machen kann

Im wunderschönen Elbflorenz gibt es in der Neustadt ein großes Probelm: Hundescheiße auf den Gehwegen. In der Altstadt ist das im touristisch erschlossenen Teil nicht so. Doch in der Johannvorstadt und anderswo schon. Daher kam der Ortsrat auf die famose Idee, die Hundehalter zur Kasse für das Vergehen ihrer Vierbeiner zu bitten. Doch wie diese ermitteln? Ganz einfach, indem vom Kot ein Abstrich gemacht und der DNA-Code entschlüsselt wird. Alle Hundebesitzer müssten für eine Datenbank einen DNA-Test ihrer Haustiere zulassen, sodass der Sünder schnell ermittelt werden könnte.
Das alles hört sich nach einem Aprilscherz an, ist jedoch traurige Wahrheit. Als eine Lokalzeitung am 1. April die Geschichte weiter drehte und die Windelpflicht für Hunde ankündigte, fiel kaum ein Leser darauf herein. Die DNA-Geschichte hatte derweil die Runde gemacht. Internationale Medien, unter ihnen die BBC, hatten den Vorschlag aufgegriffen und zur Diskussion gestellt. Warten wir ab, was draus wird.

Michael Hill

You know, it is cool to listen to and see some of these old black guys, who have to tell something. Michael Hill from South Bronx, New York City, is one of them. He is a great blues-gitarrist and singer. By the way, it is not just classical blues, but rock and funck as well. He made an album with Colin John and Bill McClellan called "Black Gold & Goddesses Bold". "Black Gold" critizises the Iraq War or third Persian Gulf War, and the title refers to Hill's opinion that "it is all about the oil". I don't think it was as easy as that, but okay. At a concert in Dresden Hill said something great: A poet, a writer a bluesman has to lie, it is his job to do so. But Presidents should not lie, at least not when they talk about important things like war. But if they do it's the artist's job to critizise them.

Just to get it straight: Hill is talking about governments not people or countries. So he still loves New York and the United States, however he things his country is in danger of loosing its freedom because of its current government.
I say, he is a bit naive, not totally wrong but not totally right either.
If you ignore his political point of you, he will still be a great musician. So if you have the chance to listen to him, do so.
