Six Feet Under

TV can really be boring. The shows are a lot of times real trash and commercials cut the atmosphere. But there is quality like HBO. Unfortunatly you cannot get HBO in Germany, however we are living in times of DVD.
One of the best shows is Six Feet Under, which is available in Germany on DVD (which by the may makes it possible to watch the series in English). Six Feet Under is good right from the beginning of every episode, where one death is shown, sometimes peaceful sometimes tragic like the pornstar dieing in the bath tube because the cat pushed the curling tongs in the water. Every character has problems, sometimes real trouble. In every episode there is joy, fun and sadness. It is really emotional and touching. You do not get depressed though it is sad in lots of ways. When one person of the Fisher family is happy another has a fight with his or her partner. It is almost like real life though the main place where all happens is a funeral home.
I hope they are going to release the fourth season soon on DVD as I know almost every episode of the third and none of the fourth. And I hope that none of the German TV channels will try to copy the concept.

I have just found out that the fourth season was released in Germany in February. And they are going to release the fifth in April. Plenty of episodes to watch for me.
