Bush in Germany according to Schmidt

In a previous post, I wrote about US-German relations. Well, since then Bush has been to Germany for a few hours. He saw policemen, soldiers, entertainer like Thomas Gottschalk, and of cours our beloved chancellor Schröder, Gerhard. Apart from all the security, the chaotic traffic situation, it was nice to see that president and chancellor tried to be nice to each other though everybody knew and could see that those two will never be close friends.
Anyway, I critizised Harald Schmidt in a different post. But yesterday he was great. His "Büttenrede" was much more political than any that has been held in times of carneval for several years. And I really loved how he played with ARD-correspondent, who did not know where Bratislava was, not to forget the commentator who presented the Prussian march, however the US national anthem followed. Schmidt only said: Americans are the better Prussians.
So, I am still a believer, who will occasionally watch Harald Schmidt without "show" on TV.
